Calling | I am inspired by creative thought leaders and the power of storytelling and social media marketing to communicate and expand the intersectional and sustainable efforts of communities.
Extracurriculars | Alexandra loves finding her way to the beach or a new delicious food spot and making new woodcuts. She holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Printmaking from Sonoma State University. She worked for four and a half years as an amateur event photographer and photo editor at SSU and carried out a communications internship at SF Goodwill. In 2015, she sat on an American Multicultural Studies panel to provide an open-forum for SSU students and community members interested in multiracial identities and issues and was also a participant in the CORE Leadership program, undergoing training in diverse community building and mindfulness.
Path | Born and raised in Novato, California. Throughout her childhood she went adventuring in Sonoma County, the North Bay and Bay Area. At age 17 she made her way to Nicaragua, living there as a volunteer in community building, youth education and empowerment. She then resided in Sonoma for four years studying sociology and art and is now back to her roots in Marin County.
