SAUSALITO/BURLINGTON – November 5, 2020 – Guru—a bi-coastal creative agency that catalyzes the purpose-driven organizations sparking transformation for the greater good—is proud to announce the expansion of its dynamic crew with two new hires.

This news follows last week’s announcement that introduced two new members of the Guru creative team, Abbey Tiderman and Lauren Laspisa. The four new employees are joined by a new Design Intern Pedro Flores to cap a robust fall of growth at Guru.

“We are fortunate to have five incredibly talented individuals bringing their diverse backgrounds and expertise to our team,” said Managing Director Cheryl Eaton. “Our entire staff is benefiting from the invigorating energy that comes with new people and new ideas.”

Kevin O’Leary, Director of Business Development will champion new business initiatives alongside Guru Founder Gagan (Jared Levy). He is an expert in the field of fostering meaningful connections and is inspired by Guru’s niche clientele of purpose-driven brands.

Prior to joining Guru, Kevin polished his networking craft working for record labels, luxury real estate developers and most recently as the Director of Business Development at A.P. Keaton marketing agency in New York. His background includes experience with household names, including Google, Facebook, T-Mobile, Tequila Patrón, GUESS?, Tinder, and more.

A native Rhode Islander who now calls Vermont home, Kevin is an avid snowboarder, runner, George Plimpton fan, record collector and all-around Superdad.

Aditi Datta, Brand Manager brings extensive agency experience to her new role on the Client Services team at Guru. She is a charismatic enthusiast for collaboration and creativity — and feels deeply connected to utilizing business as a force for good.

Aditi has worked as both an Account and Project Manager for clients such as Gatorade, Bubly, Pepsi Design Center, and Crayola. She has an MBA in Sustainable Innovation from the University of Vermont and continues to use sustainability as a guiding principle when developing brand strategies.

Hailing from New Jersey – but with no accent to prove it – Aditi now lives in Vermont and is deeply involved in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a focus on supporting women and minority-owned companies. When she’s not serving as an incredible advocate for her clients, Aditi enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, drinking natural wines, and rewatching Parks & Rec.
