Path | One of the best walk-on stories you’ve ever heard. That’s how Oliver describes his career in adland—that and tons of cartoons. Growing up reading Choose Your Own Adventure series and greek mythology gave him the wildest of imaginations, with a sense of destiny. Maybe that’s why an 8-year USMC Veteran, runs an art gallery, dabbles in interior design, lands at an agency (not to do creative), wows the crowd with his hustle, and gets to come off the bench in Creative and crushes it on a pitch to BMW. The rest is history for him. Oliver has worked at The Martin Agency on accounts such as BFGoodrich, Pizza Hut, and the American Cancer Society. He’s landed exclusive collabs through social media, partnering with agencies on one-of-a-kind projects like Jägermeister’s Concept 56 – Detroit. As a photographer, Oliver has shot some iconic musical acts, including George Clinton (on his final tour), Gladys Knight, and The Legendary Roots Crew. He most recently spent a year working in the DEIB space, helping a Fortune 500 company better speak to Black and Hispanic markets with more authenticity and relevance. Fun fact, he’s such a Superman fan that he named his son Superman’s Kryptonian name, Kal-el
